For DTG prints (all garments except for AOP), we always recommend removing the image background so that your designs stand out on top of the base fabric color.

Personally, we recommend Adobe Photoshop as the tool of choice but in practice, there are many graphical programs that can help you achieve the same result.

One important detail to mention is that you should save the artwork in PNG since this format supports transparency, unlike the traditional JPG.
