While both JPG and PNG file formats are accepted for DTG products, we always recommend removing the image background so that only the design element or elements are printed.

Without a doubt, Adobe Photoshop (paid program) is the most widely known program for image editing, including background removal. However, if you don't have access to this program, we've prepared a list of alternative options that you can use.

  • Consider hiring a graphic designer for a one-time job, on a platform like Fiverr.

Please note: Always ensure that the file is saved/exported in PNG format after editing, as this is the only format that supports a transparent background.
