While both JPG and PNG file formats are accepted for DTG products, we always recommend removing the image background so that only the design element or elements are printed.

Undoubtedly, Adobe Photoshop is the most widely known program for image editing, including background removal. However, if you don’t have access to this program, we’ve prepared a list of alternative options that you can use.

  • Consider hiring a graphic designer for a one-time job, on a platform like Fiverr.

Please note: Always ensure that the file is saved/exported in PNG format after editing, as this is the only format that supports a transparent background.
