How do I change the currency on Printify?
In your Printify account, there are two currency settings: the catalog currency setting and the billing currency setting. These settings are independent, meaning changes to one won’t affect the other.
Catalog currency
You can view all product prices in our catalog (including shipping) in a different currency by changing the currency in the top-right corner of the catalog page.
Billing currency
Billing currency is the currency in which you will be charged for orders and, if applicable, your Premium plan subscription. You can change your billing currency preference by navigating to Wallet → Payment details. We recommend choosing your card’s currency to avoid conversion fees.
Some limitations apply when changing the billing currency from USD:
- The Printify USD Balance and rewards wallet are disabled (only your added card will be charged for orders).
- Printify coupons are disabled.
- Automatic order approval will charge multiple smaller amounts (per order) as opposed to one large daily amount.
- The maximum additional cost per item is automatically converted during Order Routing.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment card.
These limitations are lifted once you have switched the billing currency to USD.
Your chosen billing currency will be used for invoices regardless of the invoice format you have chosen. If you’re using our monthly summary invoices and switch your profile’s currency mid-month, the summary invoices will be respectively split in separate billing currencies.
Printify Premium plan subscription
If you are currently subscribed to the Premium plan and are being charged in USD but wish to change your billing currency, please note the following:
- For subscriptions using a credit or debit card, you will continue to be charged in USD, even if you change the billing currency.
- For subscriptions using the Printify balance, the subscription charges will cease, as the Printify balance will be disabled upon changing the billing currency. In this case, we recommend resubscribing using a card.
To be charged in another currency for your subscription, you will need to cancel your Premium subscription, switch the billing currency, and then resubscribe to Premium using a credit or debit card.
