Why do I need to update my Shopify store permissions?
If you’ve had a Shopify store connected to Printify since before June 2023, you may see a banner appear on top of your My Products page asking you to update your store permissions.
To explain why we need to do this, we require additional permissions to your Shopify account in order to successfully publish shipping profiles to your Shopify store automatically. If you don’t intend to use shipping profiles for Shopify, you may opt out by simply dismissing the banner, however it is a simple and reliable way to ensure your profit margins are accurate. Will this break my store product connections or orders?
Updating your store permissions will in no way affect your currently published products or incoming orders, which means everything will function the way it did before the update.
