Why am I not able to publish Food, Health & Beauty products to some sales channels?

When trying to publish products from the Food, Health & Beauty category to certain sales channels, you may notice that publishing isn’t available. This is expected behavior for the following product types:

• Beauty products
• Coffee products (restricted on Amazon US and Etsy)
• Supplements

Why are these products restricted on some sales channels?

Food, Health & Beauty products are subject to stricter rules and requirements than standard print-on-demand items. Some sales channels impose conditions that aren’t currently supported for these product categories on Printify.

These restrictions are due to a combination of factors, including:

Regulatory and compliance requirements

Certain marketplaces require verified product labels, certifications, and legally defined “responsible party” information for consumable and topical products. These requirements vary by platform and product category and can be complex to support at scale.

Marketplace-specific policies

Some platforms limit how products can be customized or sold. For example, Etsy doesn’t allow label-only customization, and Amazon applies additional compliance checks for ingestible and health-related products.

Operational and fulfillment constraints

Marketplaces like TikTok Shop enforce strict shipping and order-processing timelines for regulated goods. Meeting these requirements consistently for Food, Health & Beauty products is not currently supported.

Because of these combined limitations, these product categories can’t be published to certain sales channels at this time.

Which sales channels are affected?

The following sales channels currently don’t support publishing some or all Food, Health & Beauty products:

• TikTok Shop US
  Restricted due to operational and compliance requirements for supplements and beauty products. Coffee products can be added to the TikTok Shop US. 
• Amazon US
  Restricted due to marketplace compliance and regulatory requirements for consumable and topical products.
• Etsy
  Restricted due to Etsy’s Creativity Standards, which don’t permit label-only customization.

Important shipping limitations

In addition to sales channel restrictions, shipping availability is limited:

• Beauty products and coffee can only be shipped to customers in the United States and Canada
• Supplements can only be shipped to customers in the United States and its territories

Will these restrictions change in the future?

At this time, there’s no confirmed timeline for enabling Food, Health & Beauty products on TikTok Shop US or Amazon US.

Supporting these categories requires significant regulatory, operational, and technical alignment. If availability changes in the future, we’ll update our Help Center accordingly.

Where can I publish these products instead?

You can still sell Food, Health & Beauty products through sales channels that allow more flexibility for regulated product categories, such as:

• WooCommerce
• PrestaShop
• BigCommerce
• Printify Pop-Up Store
• Printify API (for custom integrations or compatible platforms)
