Troubleshooting TikTok Integration Issues
TikTok Shop is a rapidly evolving platform with frequent updates to its policies, features, and infrastructure. As part of our commitment to helping sellers succeed, Printify is actively collaborating with TikTok to deliver a smooth and reliable selling experience.
As the platform continues to grow, you may occasionally encounter technical issues or unexpected behaviors. This article outlines the most common TikTok Shop integration issues faced by sellers and provides clear steps for resolving them.

Store suspension
If your shop is suspended, it’s important to reach out to TikTok Shop support. Based on our data, these suspensions happen rarely and are usually due to a problem with automations that are still being established. If an undeserved suspension happens to you, please provide TikTok with all the information they require and emphasize that you’re using Printify, an official TikTok integration.
The TikTok community team is actively working to understand account bans and deactivations better and advocate for sellers. If your seller account gets banned or deactivated, please take the following steps:
- Submit a case ID to TikTok: Use this link to submit a case detailing your situation.
- Contact TikTok’s customer support: In addition to submitting a case, reach out to TikTok Shop’s customer support.
Here are additional resources that may be helpful:
How to contact TikTok Support:
You can contact TikTok support either by submitting a help ticket through the Seller Center or by using the live chat feature:
- Click the AI assistant icon located in the top-right corner of your Seller Center dashboard.
- In the assistant window, click the three-line menu in the bottom-left corner.
- Select Help Center from the menu.
- Once the Help Center opens, click Chat with us at the bottom of the page.
- In the chat window, you can ask to speak with a human agent for direct assistance.
Engaging with the TikTok Seller Community:
- Sign up for Lark x TikTok Seller Community Group - join this community group where TikTok administrators often address seller issues, provide assistance, and can escalate problems.
- TikTok office hours - keep an eye out for announcements regarding TikTok’s occasional office hours, where sellers can directly ask questions and raise concerns.
Warehouse address issues
If your warehouse address is flagged, reach out to TikTok Shop support and clearly explain that you use Printify, an official TikTok integration partner.
You can refer TikTok support representatives to TikTok Shop’s seller portal via this link, where it is explicitly stated that Printify handles both fulfillment and shipping, inherently providing warehouse services.
Product publishing issues
If you’re experiencing issues publishing products from Printify to TikTok Shop US, here are some of the most common reasons for publishing failures, along with steps to help you resolve them.
Missing tax information
To publish products, you must first submit your tax information in the TikTok Seller Center. Without it, you will be unable to publish products.
Probation period publishing cap for a new TikTok store
New TikTok Shops are limited to publishing 100 product listings per day during the probation period. To automatically graduate from the probation period, you must meet all of the following criteria simultaneously:
- Sell on TikTok Shop for at least 60 calendar days
- Reach 300 mature orders (delivered 15+ days ago)
- Meet the following performance metrics:
- Seller Fault Cancellation Rate ≤ 5%
- Late Dispatch Rate ≤ 5%
- Non-Buyer Fault Return & Refund Rate ≤ 2.5%
- Order Negative Review Rate ≤ 1.5%
Once your shop graduates, the daily listing limit increases to 1,000 products per day.
The product has unsupported variant options
This typically happens when a product has more than one value selected for a variant that isn’t color or size, such as glossy vs. matte finishes (stickers, phone cases), or different dial hand colors on clocks.
To resolve this issue:
- In your Printify account, go to My products.
- Click the brush icon next to the product to open the Product Creator.
- Select only one variant option (e.g., glossy or matte—not both).
- Save your changes and try publishing the product again.
