How can I create and publish new products from the Early Access Catalog?

Create and publish new products from the Early Access Catalog to offer your customers a new variety of products. Since these products require you to upload your mockups directly in your sales channel, the publishing process is slightly different from the usual. Follow the steps below for a smooth and seamless publishing process.

Note

Early Access products will not have pre-made mockups, so you will need to plan ahead and create them yourself. You can find suggestions for creating mockups in this article.

Step 1: Select a product and add a design

Start by navigating to Catalog → Early Access and selecting a product you’re interested in. Add your design to the product and click Save product.

Step 2: Publish your product

Next, fill in all the listing details, ensure that the “Hide in store” box in the “Publishing settings” section is checked, and click Publish.

Step 3: Add mockups in your sales channel and republish the product

Then, find the published listing in your sales channel and manually add the product mockups you’ve created. Remember to save the listing.

Next, go back to the listing in Printify. In the “Publishing settings” section, uncheck the “Hide in store” box so your product is visible to customers. In the “Sync product details” section, ensure the “Mockups” box is unchecked so your uploaded mockups aren't overwritten with the placeholder image. Finally, click Publish.
