What should I keep in mind when selling branded products?
Discover a diverse range of branded products in the Printify Catalog, available through authorized suppliers and ready for sale on any sales channel. Our selection features top brands such as adidas®, Champion®, Comfort Colors®, and others. This gives you the opportunity to expand your store’s offerings by customizing high-quality, globally recognized brand garments with your own designs.
However, please note that there are some limitations when selling branded products.
Dos
- You may use the brand name in your listing titles, descriptions, and tags, as long as it is clear to buyers that the product is not being sold by the brand. For example, use a format like “[Your Brand Here] Customized Adidas Tee.”
- You must follow each brand’s specific print content guidelines and restrictions. These guidelines may vary by brand, so always review the Printify Catalog listing and the Help Center to ensure you are aware of any limitations.
- Additionally, ensure that all your products, including branded items, comply with Printify’s image content policy and Printify’s Terms of Service. If you have any questions or concerns, consult a professional for advice.
Don’ts
- You may not use the brand name, logo, or any other intellectual property (such as trademarked slogans) in your designs. For example, you cannot use the adidas® logo in designs printed on an adidas® shirt.
- You may not use symbols that indicate trademark ownership (such as ®) in your product title, description, or designs. However, you may use the brand name without including trademark ownership symbols in product titles, descriptions, and tags (see above).
- You may not mislead customers about your relationship with the brand or imply any collaboration with them. This includes avoiding any infringement on the brand’s intellectual property rights through your product designs, store name, or marketing content.
