Step 1: Enable personalization
Enable personalization for your existing product by clicking the three dots menu next to the product on your My Products page.
Step 2: Specify how customers should provide the personalization details
To do this, open the product details by clicking on a product. Then, provide instructions to customers:
- For Etsy: Customers can use the personalization box to enter names, dates, or links to custom images. They can also send images or photos via Etsy’s messaging system. Below the personalization toggle, you’ll find default buyer instructions that can be customized to fit your needs.
- For other sales channels: Customers can provide personalization details at checkout (if supported) or via email. Be sure to include these instructions in your product description.
