How can I manage orders with personalized products?
When a customer orders a personalized product, it will require manual approval. During this process, you will need to review and update the product directly within the order.
You’ll receive a notification in your Printify account for every order that contains a personalized product, ensuring you don’t miss any that need review.
Note
If you’re selling on Shopify, don’t press the “Request fulfillment” button. It overrides personalization settings and sends your Printify order to production instantly, without review.
Step 1: Open the order that needs a review
In the Orders section of your Printify dashboard, click on the Review needed label to filter all orders containing personalized products that require manual review before production.
Note
To meet TikTok’s 3-day shipping and 6-day delivery policy, we’ll notify you by email when a personalized order is placed, allowing you to quickly approve it and send it to production.
Step 2: Review and approve the order
Next, click Review.
- Update the design according to the custom text provided by the customer.
- If you’ve set up Automated Personalization, simply review the design to make sure it’s ready for production.
Note
Any text applied to the product in this step will not affect your original placeholder product.
Once done, click Approve personalization.
Step 3: Send the order to production
Once the personalization has been approved, send the order to production by clicking Submit.
