How do I make my products compliant with the GPSR requirements?

To continue selling to customers in the EU and Northern Ireland, you must ensure your products comply with GPSR standards. This involves adding business and responsible person’s information, along with mandatory product details and warranty information, to each listing. You can add the necessary information to your products individually or in bulk.

Note

It is the responsibility of the seller or store owner to ensure compliance with GPSR.

Step 1: Turn on the GPSR setting in your store

Start by turning on the GPSR setting in Store Settings. We provide default contact of our affiliate information to ensure you meet GPSR requirements. This EU-based address of the affiliate allows us to assist online sellers with GPSR compliance. Currently, business information will be displayed only on your product listings.

Alternatively, if you wish to indicate your EU or Northern Ireland address, you can do that.

Click Save to save the changes.

Step 2: Add the required product information

Check the General product safety regulation (GPSR) box to include the product information in the product description.

Note

While most products have the necessary information available, some may not yet be updated. We are continually updating our listings, so please check back regularly. If you need details about a specific product, feel free to reach out to our Support Team.

If you have previously updated your product descriptions directly on the sales channel, you can manually update them by copying the information and pasting it into the product description fields on the sales channel.

Step 3: Publish (or republish) your product

Finally, publish the newly created product, ensuring that the Description box is checked.

All set! Your listing will now meet all GPSR requirements.

Ensuring compliance for existing products

Step 1: Turn on the GPSR setting in your store

Alternatively, if you want to continue benefiting from the white-label solution Printify provides, you can enter your EU or Northern Ireland address as well.

Click Save to save the changes.

Step 2: Add the required product information to products in bulk

Select the product(s) you want to update with the GPSR product information (up to 24 at a time). Then click More actions and choose Edit description.

Next, click Add product safety information to apply the product details to all selected products at once (the information will vary by product). Then, click Save and publish changes to republish the listings.

Only the product description fields will be updated, while all other product details will remain unchanged.

Note

All set! Your listings will now meet all GPSR requirements.

Note

Some sales channels may have introduced dedicated fields for entering the necessary GPSR details. Be sure to verify this with your sales channel.
