How do I make my products compliant with the GPSR requirements?
To continue selling to customers in the EU and Northern Ireland, you must ensure your products comply with GPSR standards. This involves adding business and responsible person’s information, along with mandatory product details and warranty information, to each listing.
We’ve simplified the process for adding necessary information to your products—just follow the steps provided. While updates must be made individually for now, we are developing a bulk update feature.
Step 1: Turn on the GPSR setting in your store
Start by turning on the GPSR setting in Store Settings. We provide default contact of our affiliate information to ensure you meet GPSR requirements. This EU-based address of the affiliate allows us to assist online sellers with GPSR compliance. Currently, business information will be displayed only on your product listings.
Alternatively, if you wish to indicate your EU or Northern Ireland address, you can do that.
Click Save to save the changes.
Step 2: Add the required product information
- For a new product: Click the Add to description button to include the product information in the product description.
- For an existing product:
- Go to My Products.
- Select a product.
- Click Add to description under the description box.
If you have previously updated your product descriptions directly on the sales channel, you can manually update them by copying the information and pasting it into the product description fields on the sales channel.
Step 3: Publish (or republish) your product
Finally, publish the newly created product or republish the existing one, ensuring that the Description box is checked.
All set! Your listings will now meet all GPSR requirements.
