Import Tariffs: Updates for Printify Users
The US government recently updated its trade tariffs, impacting imports from multiple countries:
- March 4, 2025: The US imposed a 25% rate on goods from Mexico and Canada, while China faced an increased 20% rate.
- March 6, 2025: Some tariffs on Mexico and Canada were temporarily delayed for 30 days (until April 2, 2025), while those placed on China remain in effect.
Some countries have already reacted by imposing their own tariffs on US goods in response, while others may follow suit:
- March 4, 2025: Canada imposed a 25% tariff on various US goods, including clothing, shoes, household appliances, and cosmetics. Additional tariffs are set to take effect in 21 days, with the list of affected goods to be announced.
- March 10, 2025: China announced additional tariffs on some US goods, though these do not currently appear to impact products available through Printify.
