How often does Printify check my Etsy store for new orders?
How often we check your Etsy store for new orders depends on its activity. We call this process syncing. Etsy shops are grouped into two categories:
| Shop type | Criteria | Automatic sync frequency |
|---|---|---|
| Active shops |
|
Daily, depending on activity level |
| Inactive shops |
|
None |
For active shops, you can see both the most recent sync time and the upcoming scheduled sync time in the Orders tab of your Printify account:
How can I tell if my Etsy store is inactive on Printify?
If your Etsy store becomes inactive, a notification banner will appear at the top of the Orders page, indicating that automatic syncing is currently paused for the store.
You can still manually sync your store at any time by clicking the Sync button, or publish a new product to resume automatic syncing.
Will I miss an order if my store is inactive?
No — even if your store is inactive on Printify, Etsy will still send you an order confirmation email when a customer places an order. You can then go to your Printify dashboard and sync it manually.
How do I manually sync orders from Etsy?
To manually sync, go to the Orders section of your Printify dashboard and click Sync. This will sync all active orders from your Etsy shop.
How can I resume automatic syncing for my store?
You can resume automatic syncing by either of the following:
- Publish a new product to your Etsy store
- Manually sync an order after receiving one
Both actions will restore automatic syncing between your Etsy store and Printify.
