How do I register and collect sales tax?
Once you’ve determined that you have nexus in a given state, you should register for a sales tax permit, as this is required to legally collect sales tax in your store.

We also recommend requesting a resale certificate from state authorities. This certificate is different from a sales tax permit; it allows you to purchase products without paying sales tax on the Printify side, provided you plan to resell those products and collect sales tax through your business. Sales tax only needs to be collected once for the same goods.
Once you’ve submitted a valid resale certificate to us, your Printify orders shipped to the relevant state will be exempt from sales tax.
