How do I set up an eBay US seller account?
To start selling products on eBay, you will need to create an eBay seller account. To do so, follow our written guide or watch the instructions in the video below.
Step 1: Sign up for an eBay account
Start by clicking Register in the upper left corner, or sign in with your existing account.
Choose between creating a Personal or Business account. If you’re selling as a hobby or have a low volume of sales, opt for a personal account. However, if you aim to grow your business, you will need a business account.
Enter all the required information, such as your business name, email address, and create a secure password.
Then, you will be asked to verify your email address.
Step 2: Select business type
Next, choose between registering as a business or an individual. Then, provide additional business information, including a phone number that will need to be verified.
You will also be asked for a business address. This information will be the same as the personal address in the case of an individual business. However, please keep in mind that this information will be publicly visible.
Step 3: Set up payments and review policies
Next, register a bank account to receive payouts and to pay any fees.
Once a bank account has been linked, review the information, read the Payment Terms of Use, and click Confirm. Carefully read the eBay User Agreements and Privacy Policies, then click Accept. You’ll be redirected to the eBay Seller Hub from there.
That’s it! Your seller account is set up, and you can now proceed to connect your eBay US store to Printify.
