How do I set up an eBay US seller account?

Note

To set up an eBay US seller account that works with Printify, a US bank account is required. Our eBay US integration is currently limited to US citizens and those with a registered business in the United States.

To start selling products on eBay, you will need to create an eBay seller account. To do so, follow our written guide or watch the instructions in the video below.

Step 1: Sign up for an eBay account

Start by clicking Register in the upper left corner, or sign in with your existing account.

Choose between creating a Personal or Business account. If you’re selling as a hobby or have a low volume of sales, opt for a personal account. However, if you aim to grow your business, you will need a business account.

Enter all the required information, such as your name, email address, and create a secure password.

Then, you will be asked to verify your email address.

Step 2: Select business type and confirm account details

If you chose a Business account, you'll be asked to selected your business type.

Then, provide additional business and legal information, including a phone number that will need to be verified. Please keep in mind that part of this information may be publicly visible.

Step 3: Set up payments and review policies

Next, go to Account Settings → Payments to setup payouts and to setup a billing method for fees.

Carefully read the eBay User Agreements, Privacy Policies, the Payment Terms of Use, and add a U.S. bank account.

You can also sign up for one of eBay’s subscription plans, which will allow you to use eBay’s offered marketing tools and provide additional free fixed-price listings. Take a look at the fees for eBay subscriptions here.

That’s it! Your seller account is set up, and you can now proceed to connect your eBay US store to Printify.
