How do I delete a product?
Managing your inventory effectively ensures that your customers only see what is available for purchase. Deleting a product listing affects both Printify and your connected sales channel differently, depending on where the action is taken. This guide outlines how to remove items while keeping your eCommerce store and My Products list in sync.
Deleting from Printify
If you delete a product listing directly within Printify, it will also be permanently removed from your connected sales channel. This is the most efficient way to ensure the item is gone from both platforms simultaneously.
Deleting from your sales channel
If you delete a listing directly from your sales channel (e.g., Shopify, Etsy, etc.), the product will not be deleted in Printify. It will remain in your My Products list, but it will no longer be linked to your store. This can lead to confusion if you try to publish it again later, so we recommend managing deletions from the Printify side whenever possible.
