What is a resale certificate and how can I submit it?
A resale certificate, also known as a sales tax exemption certificate, serves as proof that you are eligible to purchase an item tax-free for resale purposes.
- If you have a resale certificate, you can submit it to us through our Exemption Certificate Wizard.
- If you hold a sales tax permit, you can generate and submit a resale certificate for specific states using our Exemption Certificate Wizard.
After submitting your certificate, it will be reviewed within a week.
Once the submitted resale certificate has been reviewed and approved, the certificate status will be updated to “Valid”, and sales tax exemption will be applied to all stores associated with your Printify account.
