How can I generate an API token?
Step 1: Provide a developer contact email
In your Printify account, navigate to the Connections section. You will find a field specifically for providing a contact email. If there is a dedicated person responsible for managing the application using Printify API, please provide their contact email in this field.
Step 2: Generate an API token
Click Generate to initiate the token creation process. Start by naming the token for easy recall, ensuring it reflects the selected access scopes. Then, choose the access scopes for the token and click Generate token. You can create multiple tokens, each with distinct access scopes.
Step 3: Copy and save the generated token
After generating the token, copy and save it. Access tokens are valid for one year; after that period, they expire and require replacement with a new token. If your access token is lost, you’ll need to generate a new one.
