What should I do if my Etsy store is suspended?
After integrating your Etsy store with Printify and publishing your first products, you may find that Etsy has suspended your store. For Printify sellers, the most common cause is not meeting Etsy’s Creative Standards policy — specifically, not adding Printify as a production partner and not describing your own role in your listings.
Etsy’s Creative Standards policy requires sellers to disclose who makes their products and to explain their involvement in the design. Due to a technical limitation, Printify can’t add this information automatically during publishing, so you’ll need to add it by manually editing the product in Etsy. To learn how to set this up correctly, see our guide on Etsy’s Creative Standards and adding a production partner.
Other reasons Etsy may suspend your store
Suspensions aren’t always related to your products. Etsy may also suspend a store for reasons such as an overdue bill, a missing taxpayer ID or bank account, incomplete identity or bank verification, unconfirmed seller information, or repeated policy violations. Many of these reinstate automatically once you resolve them. For the full list of reasons and how to fix each one, see Etsy’s guide on reinstating a suspended account.
How to resolve the suspension
Whatever the cause, check your email — including your spam and junk folders — for a message from Etsy explaining what happened and the next steps to take. You may also see a banner in your Shop Manager dashboard.
