What should I do if my order is late?
If your order hasn’t shipped or been delivered by the estimated delivery date, start by checking your order status in the Dashboard to see whether it’s still in production or has already shipped. Then follow the steps below based on your order’s status.
If the order is still in production
- Check the standard production time. Visit the Printify network fulfillment status page to see the expected production time for your Print Provider.
- Allow the fulfillment time to pass. Orders may still be fulfilled up to the last day of the fulfillment window, so it’s normal for an order to remain in “In Production” status until then.
- Still not fulfilled after that window? Reach out to us. Contact our Support Team through our contact form or start a chat with us, and we’ll look into the status of your order.
If the order has already shipped
- Check the tracking link. Open the tracking link from your shipping confirmation email. If it doesn’t show recent updates, you can try entering the tracking number on third-party sites like:
-
Recommend your customer to check with the post office / carrier. If the order is still in transit, reaching out to the carrier / post office directly may give the most accurate update. You’ll usually find their contact info on the tracking page. If tracking shows the first delivery attempt failed, contact the carrier directly to coordinate redelivery.
If the order was shipped internationally or through a partner like DHL or Asendia, the final delivery may be handled by a local carrier (like USPS or Royal Mail). Be sure to check for any additional tracking numbers or carrier details on the tracking page to follow up with the final-mile carrier directly.
-
Still no updates? Reach out to us. Contact our Support Team through our contact form or start a chat with us. We’ll check on the order and let you know if you need to wait a bit longer or take further steps.
-
File a report for a lost shipment. If your order still hasn’t arrived and it’s been more than a few days past the estimated delivery date, you can report an issue with the order. Make sure to do this within 30 calendar days of the estimated delivery date for domestic orders and 45 calendar days for international shipments.
NoteWe might ask you to confirm the shipping address, give the carrier a few more days to complete the delivery, or ask the recipient to check with the local post office before we move forward.
If the order is marked as delivered
If tracking shows the package was delivered but it hasn’t been received, we’re unable to offer a free reprint, any replacement would need to be placed at your own expense. Before reaching that conclusion, double-check the delivery address, check with neighbours, and confirm the “Delivered” status isn’t a notice for pickup from the post office.
