What is Etsy Listing Sync (Update from Etsy) on Printify?
Etsy Listing Sync lets you bring the latest details of your Etsy listings back into your Printify products. If you edit a published listing on Etsy, for example to refine the title, tags, or description, you can update the matching Printify product with those edits whenever you choose, using the Update from Etsy action in My Products.
Nothing changes until you click. Updates cannot be undone, so it helps to read what is and is not included before you start.
Before you start
- Update from Etsy works for Etsy stores only.
- You can update up to 24 products at a time. To update more, run it again with the next group.
- An update cannot be undone. Once a product is updated, the Printify version is replaced by the Etsy version.
- Some content is not included, such as mockups and images. See the table below.
Here’s how to update your products
To update several products at once
- Go to My Products in your Printify account.
- Select the products you want to update, up to 24 at a time.
- In the bar that appears, click Update from Etsy. The button becomes active once you select at least one product.
- Read the information box that opens. It explains how the update works and what is not included.
- Confirm to start the update. If a selected product has unpublished changes in Printify, you will be asked what to do with them.
To update a single product
- Go to My Products and find the product.
- Click the three-dots menu next to the product and select Update from Etsy.
- Read the information box and confirm.
Update from Etsy is available from My Products only. You will not find it on the product details page.
What happens during the update
- While an update is running, the product shows the status Updating from Etsy. When it finishes, the status returns to Published and you will see a note such as Updated from Etsy a few seconds ago.
- If a product has unpublished changes in Printify, you choose what happens to it: overwrite your changes with the Etsy version, or skip the product and leave it as it is.
- Some products are skipped automatically: unpublished products, products with errors, and products flagged for intellectual property infringement.

After you update: publishing from Printify
If you publish from Printify later, you’ll see a “New changes” label next to the details you’ve updated. Publishing Printify mockups replaces your Etsy mockups, including videos. Review the warnings before you publish.
FAQs
Is the update automatic?
No. Printify updates a product only when you select it and click Update from Etsy.
Why can I only update 24 products at a time?
The limit helps keep updates reliable. If you have more products to update, run Update from Etsy again for the next group of up to 24 products.
Can I undo an update?
No. Once a product is updated, the Printify version is replaced by the Etsy version. If you are not sure, start with one product and check the result.
Does Update from Etsy change my Etsy listing?
No. It updates the product in Printify. Your Etsy listing changes only if you publish from Printify afterward, and the warning icons show what would be replaced.
Will my mockups and images change?
At this moment, the feature does not pull mockups, images, or video mockups from Etsy. If you later publish Printify mockups, they will replace your Etsy mockups, including videos (this will also reset mockups that link to Etsy variants).
I added a variant on Etsy. Will it appear in Printify?
No. Variants added on Etsy are not imported.
Why was my product not updated?
The product may be unpublished, have an error, or be flagged for intellectual property infringement. The feature does not work with Multi-Product Listings, and Personalization.
