How is Economy Shipping displayed to my Etsy customers?

When you enable Economy Shipping for a product, both Standard and Economy Delivery options become available, allowing customers to choose their preferred shipping method at the Etsy checkout. Additionally, you can enable Express Delivery for select products, providing your customers with even greater flexibility.

Tip

While Etsy defaults to displaying the least expensive shipping option in the product listing, we recommend incorporating either “Economy shipping” or “Economy & Express shipping” into your Etsy product title to enhance visibility.

Economy shipping has been added to the product title to boost visibility.

Here’s a step-by-step breakdown of what the ordering process looks like for your Etsy customers:

Step 1: Selecting a product with Economy Shipping

A customer selects a product offering Economy Shipping and then proceeds to choose their desired size and color. To enhance visibility, it’s important that your product clearly indicates the availability of Economy Shipping in its title, mockup, and/or description.

Note

Customers may also need to enter their phone number in the Etsy personalization field during this step if Express Delivery has been enabled for the product.

Economy Shipping option is indicated when the customer is choosing the size and color of the product.

Step 2: Adding the product to the cart

At this step, the customer adds the product to their cart and can choose the delivery option.

Note

Economy Shipping is currently available for customers within the United States.

The chosen item has been added to the cart, and now the customer can select a payment method.

Step 3: Finalizing the order

During this step, the customer will add their full delivery address, payment method, and review their order before finalizing it.

Note

On the Etsy checkout side, Economy Shipping will be labeled as “Standard Shipping,” while Printify’s Standard Shipping option will be referred to as “Standard Plus.”
