Why are some of my Pop-Up Store products not eligible for a discount?

Some of your Pop-Up Store products may not qualify for the discounts you create. The eligibility criteria will vary for each discount type.

Product discount

Products won’t be eligible if the discount amount exceeds your profit margin. During the promotion creation process, we will display products that are not eligible for the product discount:

These products are not eligible because your discount exceeds your profit margin. Here are your options in this scenario:

Proceed with the promotion, understanding that some products or variants in your store will be excluded from the promotion.
Increase the retail price for the ineligible products, refresh the list to confirm no products remain ineligible, then launch the promotion.
Reduce the product discount percentage to ensure all products are eligible.

Shipping discount

Note

This feature is in its BETA stage and currently available to a limited number of merchants.

The shipping discount will only be applied at checkout if your product’s profit margin exceeds the discount. In other words, products will not be eligible for the shipping discount if their profit margin is equal to or lower than the shipping discount amount.

To apply the shipping discount to more (or all) of your products, you can:

Increase the profit margin for the ineligible products so that it exceeds the shipping discount.
Reduce the shipping discount.
