What are pre-digitized fonts for embroidery (fast embroidery)?
When you create embroidery designs with text, you can choose from a variety of fonts. Some of these fonts are pre-digitized—meaning they’ve been specially optimized in advance for embroidery.
Pre-digitized fonts have pre-set stitch paths and density, so the system doesn’t need to process them manually each time. This makes your order faster to fulfill and helps reduce digitization errors or rejected designs.
Why pre-digitized fonts matter
- Faster processing times: Text created with pre-digitized fonts skips the manual digitization step, so embroidery files are ready for production sooner.
- Higher stitch accuracy: These fonts are optimized for clear, stable embroidery results.
- Fewer failed digitizations: Using them minimizes the risk of designs being rejected due to unsuitable artwork.
How to identify pre-digitized fonts in the Creator
You can easily find pre-digitized fonts when adding text to your embroidery product:
- In the Add text panel, open the font library.
- Apply the Fast embroidery filter to show only pre-digitized fonts.
- All pre-digitized fonts are marked with a stitched icon displayed next to the font name.
When you select a font family that includes a pre-digitized version, the system automatically applies it to your design.
