Overview of the Store Builder

The Store Builder uses a section-based layout instead of a fixed page structure. You can add, remove, reorder, and edit content sections while seeing changes instantly in the live preview.

Key capabilities include:

• pre-designed store templates
• interchangeable content sections
• direct editing in the live preview
• mobile and desktop-specific adjustments
• a centralized asset library
• global design settings in the side menu

Store templates

When setting up your store, you can choose from several pre-designed store templates. Each template provides a different layout and visual structure that you can further customize.

Use sections to build your pages

Sections are the main building blocks of your store. You can combine different section types to create a layout that fits your brand and content needs.

Common section types include:

• hero banners
• image and text sections
• product highlights
• product collections
• story or “About” sections
• values or features sections
• social media sections

Each section may offer multiple layout options, such as text-first or image-first arrangements.

You can also customize sections by:

• adding sections to the page
• moving sections up or down using the section settings toolbar
• adjusting content blocks within a section using drag and drop
• editing text, images, and buttons
• changing background colors or background images
• deleting sections and restoring them if needed
• adjusting section height and header settings separately for desktop and mobile views

Mobile and desktop editing options

The Store Builder allows you to customize how sections appear on different devices. You can adjust section height independently for mobile and desktop views.

If you want a sizing change to apply to both views, make sure to update each view separately.

Edit content directly in the live preview

Most changes in the Store Builder are made directly in the preview area.

You can:

• click text to edit it
• click images to replace them using the asset library
• drag blocks to rearrange them
• resize banners or sections using drag handles
• update buttons and other interactive elements

This replaces the previous sidebar-only editing flow and allows you to see updates immediately.

Asset library

The asset library stores all images uploaded for your store, including logos, banners, and other visuals. It helps you manage and reuse assets across different sections.

You can use the asset library to:

• upload multiple images at once
• compare images before selecting one
• swap between different visual versions
• reuse the same image in multiple sections
• return to previously used images

Side menu options

The side menu on the left side of the Store Builder contains global design and page-level settings.

Brand

Use the Brand section to manage how your store name and logo appear.

You can edit:

• the store name displayed on your store (this does not change the store URL)
• the logo
• logo visibility in the header and footer

Logo and store name visibility can also be adjusted separately for desktop and mobile views.

 

Style

The Style section controls the overall visual identity of your store.

You can customize:

• color themes
• fonts
• button styles

Product arrangement

Use Product arrangement to control the order in which products appear in your store.

You can:

• drag products to reorder them
• move products to the top or bottom of the list

Social media

Use the Social media section to add links to your social profiles. These links typically appear in the footer of your store.

Supported options include:
