How do I create Product Collections with Pop-Up Store Builder?

Product Collections let you group specific products together and display them in different sections of your Pop-Up Store. This feature gives you more control over how products are organized and presented, making it easier to highlight seasonal items, bestsellers, or themed selections.

What are Product Collections

Product Collections allow you to:

• group products by theme, category, campaign, or season
• highlight selected products on specific pages
• control the order in which products appear within a group
• add the same product to multiple collections

Here’s an example collection named “City mood”:

Where to find Collections

To access Collections:

1. Go to your Dashboard.
2. Open My Products.
3. Select Collections from the sidebar menu.

From this page, you can:

• create new collections
• open and edit existing collections
• delete collections

Creating a new collection

To create a collection:

1. Go to My Products → Collections.
2. Click New collection +.
3. Enter a name for your collection and add an optional collection thumbnail.
4. Save your changes.

Once created, the new collection will appear in your Collections page.

Adding products to a collection

Only published and visible products will be available for adding to a collection. You can add products to a collection in two ways.

Option 1: From inside the collection

1. Open the collection.
2. Click Add products.
3. Select the products you want to include.
4. Confirm your selection.
5. Click Publish collection to save the changes.

Option 2: From My Products page

You can also add multiple products to multiple collections at once:

1. Go to My Products.
2. Select products using the checkboxes.
3. Click Add to collection.
4. Choose one or multiple existing collections.
5. Confirm your selection.
6. Go back to the collection and click Publish collection to save the changes.

This option is useful when organizing large product catalogs.

Editing a collection

To edit an existing collection:

1. Go to My Products → Collections.
2. Click the Edit icon next to the collection you want to update.

From the edit view, you can:

• rename the collection (click Collection details)
• add or remove products
• rearrange product order

Reordering products

You can change the product order within a collection by:

• dragging and dropping products into a new position
• clicking the three-dot menu next to the product and using Move to the top or Move to the bottom buttons

The order you set here determines how products appear when the collection is displayed in your store. You can also rearrange the general order of your products by opening the All products collection.

Deleting a collection

To delete a collection:

1. Go to My Products → Collections.
2. Select a collection and click Delete, or click the Trash icon on the right side.

Deleting a collection does not delete the products themselves — it only removes the grouping.

Making collections visible in your store

Publishing a collection makes its URL live and available in the Store Builder, but it is not automatically added to your store's homepage.

To preview your collection page, click the view icon next to it. Anyone with this link can view the collection, but it won't appear on your homepage until you add it as a section. 

To add a collection to your homepage, follow these steps:

1. Open the Store Builder.
2. Add a new section to where you want your collection to appear.
3. From the left-hand menu choose a product template or a blank section.
4. Click the product block within that new section to open the dropdown menu, then select your desired collection.
5. Update the section's headline as you see fit. 
6. Save and publish your store changes.

After completing these steps, the collection will be visible to all store visitors.

Customizing your product block display

While editing the product block, you can use the top toolbar menu to further customize its appearance:

• Adjust visible products & buttons: Click the slider icon to update how many products you wish to show and toggle the "View More" button on or off.
• Change product card templates: Click the card icon to open the right sidebar and choose a new layout for your products (e.g., Minimal, Rounded, Centered Clean).

Displaying multiple collections on your storefront

If you want to feature multiple collections in one convenient place, you can easily add a dedicated collections block to your store homepage.

To do so, follow these steps:

1. Click + Add Section and pick a blank element.
2. Click the green + icon inside the section to open the block menu, and select Collection slider (or Collection grid). This will automatically add all of your published collections to this area.
3. To edit which collections are visible, click on the newly added block to open the top toolbar menu.
4. Click the All collections dropdown and use the checkboxes to select or deselect specific collections.
