Why can’t my products be published to Etsy with a retail price error?

While Printify will charge you in the billing currency you have selected for your Printify account, you are free to use any currency within your Etsy store since Etsy supports many other currencies.

That being said, depending on which currency you choose to use, you may encounter a product publishing error that is associated with not meeting the minimum product price on Etsy. This will typically be the case if the chosen currency unit is of lower value than the United States Dollar (USD).

To fix this problem, use one of the following solutions:

  • Set your store currency to USD in order to be consistent with what you have on the Printify side (steps described here).

  • Or set the retail price to be the final amount that you want it to be in the store currency, ignoring “USD” on the Printify side, as shown below:
