How can I create additional mockups using Placeit?

While most Printify products offer a variety of mockup styles, we understand that the available options may still be limited. To address this, we have teamed up with Placeit, an online mockup library that offers and extensive collection of mockups for various product types.

Log in, register, and subscribe directly through Printify’s Mockup Library to seamlessly explore and add Placeit mockups to your products. Placeit mockups are available for all sales channels, including the Printify Pop-Up Store.

Note

Currently, our Placeit integration supports only front print mockups for apparel products.

Step 1: Choose a product in Printify

Start by selecting a product from our Catalog and uploading your design. Click Save product to proceed to the next step.

Step 2: Choose the Placeit option in the Mockup Library

In the Mockup Library sidebar, click on the Placeit option, then select Explore mockups. You’ll gain access to the full range of Placeit mockups, displayed in your chosen product color.

Step 3: Apply filters to refine your mockup selection

Next, use the available filters to narrow down the mockup options or switch to a different color variant. Make sure to select mockups that closely resemble the Printify product.

Tip

Pay attention to key product details such as necklines (for t-shirts), handles (for mugs), and other specific features to ensure consistency with the Printify product.

Step 4: Adjust the design on mockup as needed

Ensure the design placement aligns with the positioning specified for your Printify product. Make any necessary adjustments to accurately match the mockup to your design.

Note

You can modify both the placement and the size of the design.

Step 5: Log in or register, then subscribe to Placeit

To download or save your chosen mockup for use in your store listing, you’ll need a Placeit subscription. Simply click Select mockup, then Log in, and you’ll be redirected to log in or register with Placeit.

Placeit’s Unlimited subscription starts at just USD 6.35 per month (with the annual plan), granting access to thousands of high-resolution, commercially-usable mockups.

Step 6: Select the Placeit mockups to include in your product listing

After logging in or signing up and subscribing, your chosen mockups will be automatically added to the product under “Unlinked mockups.” Feel free to add as many Placeit mockups as you need.

Note

Unlinked mockups cannot be linked to specific color variants but may be selected as the title mockup.

Once you’re satisfied with your selection, click Save selection to proceed to the next step. Here, you can choose the title mockup for the product. Then, publish the product to your store.

Note

If you’re accessing Placeit directly from their website instead of through our integration, please note that the “Send to Printify” feature is currently not working as expected. As a workaround, you can download the mockup image from Placeit and manually upload it to the Mockup Library.
