Choosing a Print Provider isn't always straightforward due to numerous options. Factors like product price, printing location, production speed, and reviews are important.

To help, we created a scoring system ranking every Print Provider on the Printify platform. This rating system is updated with data from our checks and customer feedback, providing an accurate and transparent ranking.

How is the Performance Score calculated?

The Performance Score calculation is based on 3 key performance metrics:

• Quality - this is measured according to how many of the Print Provider’s printed items do not meet our standard, or have issues through our complaints.
• Production Speed - this is calculated based on the ability of our Printer Provider to ship orders within agreed times. The status of network and latest production times can be found here.
• Samples & Shipping - this score is based on your sample order feedback, Printify Connect, and our secret shopping experience. We also consider the Print Provider’s order preparation process for carrier pickup, which plays a key role in preventing delivery issues like lost orders. This metric offers a comprehensive overview of performance, monitoring the entire order journey from click to shipment.

In addition, we will display the Performance Score for the selected product category once sufficient data is available to provide an estimate. This beta feature will initially be available for t-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, and mugs.

What is the range of scores?

The scores range from 0 to 10, with 10 being the highest score possible.

How often are these scores updated?

Performance Scores are updated weekly based on the performance of the previous 4 weeks, and provide you with accurate information to make your decisions.

What does Printify do with the scores?

Performance Scores, updated weekly, form the basis for reviewing Print Provider performance and are part of the Printify Quality Promise.
