How can I integrate my Etsy shop with Printify?

Etsy is one of the most beginner-friendly marketplaces in the eCommerce industry. With just a few quick and simple steps, you can get your Etsy store up and running, attracting buyers worldwide.

To enhance marketplace security, Etsy has implemented changes to its onboarding process. When opening a shop, new sellers will now be required to undergo an identity verification process, and a one-time shop set-up fee of USD 15 may apply. For more details on these changes, please refer to Etsy’s announcement.

Step 1: Create an Etsy shop

If you’re new to Etsy and want to start selling, the first step is to create an Etsy shop. Simply visit Etsy.com/sell and select Get started. Skip this step if you already created an Etsy shop.

Step 2: Complete the Etsy seller onboarding process

Navigate to Shop Manager and make sure to complete all the steps to set up your Etsy store. As part of the onboarding process, you’ll need to create at least one product on Etsy.

Note that this doesn’t need to represent a real product, so details such as title, description, photo, and shipping profile specifications are not important and can be anything you choose. You can delete this product once your Etsy shop has been connected to Printify.

Step 3: Open your Etsy shop

After completing all onboarding steps, activate your Etsy shop by clicking on Open your shop.

Step 4: Connect your Etsy store to Printify

In Printify, open the store drop-down menu, followed by Manage my stores. Click Connect and then choose the Etsy option. If you’re adding another store to your Printify account, select Add a new store.

Next, you’ll be asked to log in to your Etsy account (if you aren’t already logged in). Then you’ll be asked to grant access to Printify to proceed with the integration.

Make sure to check the email address shown in this step to make sure that you’re signed in to the same Etsy account that you want to connect to Printify.

Now that you’ve linked your store, you can start publishing products to your Etsy store and manage all orders from within Printify. The shipping rates from Printify will automatically be assigned to your products. To learn more about how shipping works for Etsy, visit this article.

Note

If you’re using Etsy Pattern, remember that Printify products are not default published to your Pattern site. You can publish them by editing each product in Etsy and checking the Pattern box under Channel settings.
