How can I connect my Shopify store?

Shopify is a popular all-in-one solution that is great for beginners who want a stand-alone store. Connect your Shopify store to Printify from your Shopify app or from your Printify account by following the steps below.

Step 1: Select Shopify from the integrations menu

Start by logging in or creating a free Printify account. Click on the drop-down menu in the upper-left corner and select Manage my stores. Click Connect and then choose the Shopify option. If you’re adding a new store to your Printify account, select Add a new store.

Step 2: Connect Shopify

Next, click Connect. If you don’t have a Shopify account yet, click Create now to set one up. Once you've finished, return to this step to continue the connection of your store.

Step 3: Install Printify

The connect button should open a new tab with a prompt to install the Printify app, click Install. After installing the app you'll be prompted to log in to your Printify account from the Shopify admin.

Note

If you receive an error that your Shopify store is already connected to Printify, go to My Stores and check if it shows up there. If it's not there, it's connected to another Printify account. A store can be only connected to one Printify account at a time, so you'll have to check other Printify accounts you've used and disconnect it.

Step 4: Complete the setup

After you've installed the Printify app, you can return to Printify and click I've completed my setup.

Now that your Shopify store has been successfully connected, you’re all set to start creating products for your store. The appropriate shipping rate will be automatically assigned to the product upon publishing.

Tip

In case you’d like to add another Shopify store to the same Printify account, log out of your Shopify account and proceed to integrate from the Printify side by clicking Add a new store, then choose the Shopify option.

Connecting from Shopify

Step 1: Go to Shopify app store and install Printify

In your Shopify dashboard, navigate to the Shopify app store and search for “Printify” or click here. Next, press Install → Install to proceed.

Step 2: Log in or create a free Printify account

Find and click on the Printify app in the left-hand menu of your Shopify dashboard. Next, log in to your existing Printify account or sign up for Printify in one click.

If you choose Sign up, we’ll automatically create a Printify account using the email address linked to your Shopify store. After completing the short onboarding, you’ll receive a password reset email—use it to set your Printify password.

You can access your Printify dashboard directly from the Printify app in Shopify. However, you’ll need the password to log in at Printify.com.

Note

If you signed up to the Printify Premium plan from Printify embedded app in Shopify, and decide to uninstall the Printify app, then your Printify Premium plan subscription will automatically be canceled. Your account will still be accessible via the Printify website. If you wish to resubscribe at a later point, you can via the Printify website.
