How can I create and publish products to TikTok Shop US?

Create and publish products on TikTok Shop US in just a few simple steps. Keep in mind, however, that TikTok Shop US requires all orders to be shipped within 2 business days of order creation.

To meet this requirement, ensure that you choose only TikTok-eligible products. Non-eligible products can be published, but they’ll appear under the Requires action tab with the status “Potential delay”.

Note

Before adding products, ensure that your tax information is submitted in the TikTok Seller Center—this step is required to enable product publishing.

Step 1: Choose a TikTok-eligible product

Start by selecting a Catalog subcategory that interests you, such as bags. Then, toggle the TikTok eligibility option at the top of the page to display only TikTok-eligible products and variants. Select a product and Print Provider from the available options, then continue with the usual steps to add your design.

Only products and product variants that meet TikTok's fulfillment requirements should be sold to avoid violation points and potential shop closure.

Note

Step 2: Design your product

When the TikTok eligibility toggle is enabled, the setting automatically transfers to the Product Creator, displaying only TikTok-eligible variants there. Add your design to the product and select the color variants.

Once you’re happy with it, click Save product to proceed to the next step.

Step 3: Adjust product details and publish your product

Once you’ve selected product mockups, adjust other details such as the title, description, and price. Before publishing the product, make sure to choose the following options under Shipping:

Warehouse: Choose the warehouse you created.
Delivery service: Select the Standard shipping option as shown below.

Now your product should be fully published and active on TikTok!

Tip

The TikTok Shop US return policy covers all items, including POD products. Occasionally, customers may make use of this policy to return non-faulty items, impacting your profit margin calculations. With this in mind, we recommend that you carefully review your TikTok Shop US product pricing to prevent it from affecting your profit margins.

If you encounter a publishing error, make sure that:

You've submitted your tax information to TikTok and it's been verified
The product is not in a restricted category you don't have approval for
You've fully set up warehouse and shipping settings in TikTok

Note

If you later adjust your Printify products directly on TikTok, you might see a prompt about California Proposition 65 compliance. Since Printify products do not contain the listed chemicals, select “No“ to indicate they don’t require a warning.
