How can I calculate my store’s profit?
The “Overview” dashboard displays your expenses, which are divided into production and shipping costs. Total costs include production, shipping, and taxes.
Note
The Printify Insights dashboards will automatically appear for your store if it has received a minimum of 20 orders within the last 30 days.
Although store profit is not currently displayed in this dashboard, it is a feature we plan to include in future releases. In the meantime, you can calculate your store’s profit by following these steps:
- In the “Overview” dashboard, select your preferred values in the filter above:
- Time Range: Choose a time frame.
- Store: Select one or more of your stores.
- Click on the green Update button to the right of the filters.
- The money spent on the production and shipping of your orders will be displayed under Expenses.
- Calculate your profit using the following formula: Store sales (found in your sales channel) - Expenses (found in Insights) - Any other expenses (such as sales channel subscription) = Profit for the selected time period.
Note
If you are subscribed to the Premium plan, please note that it is not listed under Expenses or reflected in your monthly invoices. It should be considered when calculating your store’s profit.
Tip
Adjust the “Charts Time Frame” filter at the top of the page to display columns on a daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis.
