How can I create and publish products to Amazon US?
Creating and publishing products to Amazon US is a straightforward process. However, please note that currently, the product publishing process to Amazon US can take up to 24 hours.
Step 1: Choose an eligible product
To start, navigate to our Catalog. You will notice that the “Ship from” region (target market) is automatically set to “USA” and cannot be changed. This is because, currently, our Amazon integration supports only products fulfilled by our US-based Print Providers.
Next, select a product and choose an Amazon-eligible Print Provider. The eligibility of each provider will be indicated with a tag next to their name.
Step 2: Design your product
Add your design to the product and click Save product.
Step 3: Publish your product
Amazon has specific rules for how products should be published. Here are some key points to look out for:
- Titles should contain the minimal information that is needed to identify the item and nothing more.
- The first letter of every word in the listing title must be capitalized.
- Each product category has different character length requirements; however, as a general recommendation, it’s best to use fewer than 80 characters.
-
Titles must not contain promotional phrases, such as “free shipping” or “100% quality guaranteed”.
-
Titles must not contain characters for decoration, such as ~ ! * $ ? _ ~ { } # < > | * ; ^ ¬ ¦.
-
Titles must contain product-identifying information, such as “hiking boots” or “umbrella”.
- Use numerals: “2” instead of “two”.
- Don't use subjective commentary, such as “Hot Item” or “Best seller”.
- Titles can include necessary punctuation, like hyphens (-), forward slashes (/), commas (,), ampersands (&), and periods (.).
- Titles can abbreviate measurements, such as “cm”, “oz”, “in”, and “kg”.
- Don't include your seller name in titles.
- Size and color variations should be included in titles for child ASINs, not the main title.
- Amazon allows up to 99 product variants per listing.
-
Include at least one bullet point in your listing. Bullet points should be short, descriptive sentences that highlight key features and benefits of the product.
You can find more detailed information about listing requirements in these Amazon resources:

- For specific guidelines on different product categories, visit this page.
Adjust the product details such as the title, price, and description, ensuring to include at least one bullet point.
Next, select one of your shipping templates and click Publish. Remember, you need to set up per-item based or free shipping options in your Amazon account before publishing a product.
Lastly, please keep in mind that you won’t be able to publish products to Amazon US if you do not have a GTIN/UPC exemption for the necessary product category. For a step-by-step guide on how to request an exemption, please visit this article.
