How do I add GPSR details to my sales channels?

Some marketplaces have dedicated fields for GPSR details. Filling those in satisfies the requirement, so you don't also need the information in your product descriptions. Whichever route you use, the details have to be visible to your customer before they buy.

Note

If a marketplace has separate fields for manufacturer and responsible person information, enter your contact information as the manufacturer. For responsible person, use your own contact information if your business is in the EU or Northern Ireland. If it isn't, enter the details of the partner who acts as your responsible person in the EU.

Etsy

Business and responsible person’s information: Add an EU-based economic operator as the responsible person by following Etsy’s guidelines. Enter your own EU or Northern Ireland address, or the address of the partner acting as your responsible person in the EU.

Note

The GPSR doesn't require a phone number as part of the contact details, but Etsy's economic operator form asks for one. Enter the phone number that belongs to the contact details you're using.

Product and warranty information: Use Etsy’s bulk update feature to efficiently add the required information simultaneously to multiple products that share the same product model. Only bulk update products that share the same model (e.g., Bella+Canvas 3001) with the same information, as necessary details can vary significantly from one product to another.

eBay US

Business and responsible person’s information: You can either follow the steps in how to make your products compliant with the GPSR requirements or add the manufacturer and responsible person details directly to your listings using eBay's regulatory contacts settings. Enter your own details, or those of your responsible person in the EU.
Product and warranty information: You can either follow the steps in how to make your products compliant with the GPSR requirements or add product safety information to your listings using eBay's product safety labelling fields. Use eBay's bulk update option to add the required information to multiple products of the same model at once. Only bulk update products that share the same model (for example, Bella+Canvas 3001) with the same information, since the required details vary significantly between products.

Amazon US

Products sold through the Amazon US integration are eligible for shipping to the EU and Northern Ireland, so they need GPSR details too. Follow the steps in how to make your products compliant with the GPSR requirements to add the information to your product descriptions. If your Amazon account has dedicated product compliance fields for responsible person and safety information, fill those in as well, since Amazon checks its own fields when reviewing listings.
