What are Printify’s production times like?

Most Printify orders ship within 2 to 7 business days of being submitted, though the exact timeframe depends on the time of year, product availability, and order size.

It’s important to note that the fulfillment timeframe may vary for each order. You can find an estimated ship-by date for each order in your Orders tab.

What is the average production time for a Print Provider?

While you're choosing a Print Provider for a product, you can see that provider's average fulfillment time for the product over the last 30 days.

Average production time can be seen in the Catalog.

While the average production time is not guaranteed (holidays and high-volume seasons will cause production time to increase), this number may be helpful to base your decision on.

You can also check the current fulfillment status of our Print Provider network on the Network Fulfillment Status page. The information there is updated frequently and will be especially useful during the holiday season. Visit our Shipping Rates page to view the delivery times for all Print Providers.

Where can I see the current production time estimate of my order?

Once an order has been submitted to production, you’ll be able to see a ship-by date estimate in your Orders tab (the estimated date is based on orders shipped in the past 14 days). In the order details, you can find the delivery date estimate.

Note

These dates are estimates; it is not guaranteed that the order will ship or be delivered by those dates.

The estimated shipment date is shown within the order.

Why is my order taking longer than expected?

Occasionally, the order fulfillment may take longer than initially expected. This may be caused by one of the following:

The garment is out of stock and needs to be ordered from the supplier (if the delay is just a few days, the Print Providers do not necessarily inform us).
The product did not pass the post-production quality check and needs to be reprinted to ensure a high-quality standard.
The order contains 12 or more items.

However, if your order hasn’t been updated or shipped within 7 business days, please get in touch with our Support Team for a status update.

Can the production time be expedited?

Standard production time can’t be expedited, but eligible products can use Express Delivery, which speeds up both production and delivery and typically delivers orders within 2–3 business days.

Express Delivery is currently available for Bella+Canvas 3001 and Gildan 5000 T-shirts with front prints shipped within the US, except to Alaska and Hawaii.

Alternatively, if Express Delivery doesn’t suit your needs, you may want to consider upgrading the shipping method to Priority Shipping (if offered by the chosen Print Provider) to speed up the delivery time.

Note

Choosing Priority Shipping speeds up delivery, not the production timeframe. The standard 2 to 7 business day production window still applies.
