How does the upgrade to Printify Choice work?
With the upgrade to Printify Choice, you can access all the benefits of Printify Choice for your existing orders automatically, with no additional action required on your part. If both time and money can be saved on an eligible order, we’ll automatically route the order to be fulfilled through the Printify Choice network—while passing the savings directly to you.
Why choose the upgrade to Printify Choice?
In addition to the main advantages of Printify Choice—best price, quality, and speed—here’s why you should opt for the upgrade to Printify Choice:
- Exact match only: We’ll upgrade your order only if an identical product and print area are available within the Printify Choice network.
- Maximize profits: Save up to 10% on every order.
- Minimize out-of-stock issues: With automatic rerouting, your orders get delivered on time, whatever the weather.
- Reduce your risk: Printify Choice customers are half as likely to experience issues compared to non-Choice.
Which orders are eligible for the Printify Choice Upgrade?
If you have the Printify Choice Upgrade setting enabled, orders will be routed based on the following conditions:
- Cost savings: The order will be routed only if Printify Choice saves you money.
- Product match: Only orders with exact product matches will be routed.
- Print area match: Upgrades apply only if the new product has the same print areas as the original and the design size remains unchanged.
- Packaging inserts: The order will be routed only if your selected options for packaging inserts and/or gift messages can be supported.
In addition, the following conditions must also be met for an order to qualify for the upgrade:
- Only single line-item orders are eligible.
- Delivery addresses must be in the US.
- TikTok Shop US and Amazon US orders are excluded.
- Only orders with Standard or Economy shipping options qualify.
Enabling the upgrade to Printify Choice
Since the order will only be routed if it saves you money, offers the best quality and speed while maintaining the original product, this feature is enabled by default in your store settings—no action is required on your part. It’s a win/win for you and your customer!
However, if you prefer, you can opt out of the upgrade by simply unchecking the Activate my upgrade to Printify Choice box in Order settings and saving your changes:
How does the upgrade to Printify Choice differ from Order Routing?
Upgrade to Printify Choice is a part of our Order Routing feature. However, you can enable or disable both options separately. Here’s how they differ:
Upgrade to Printify Choice
- The Printify Choice upgrade automatically directs your order to be fulfilled through the Printify Choice network if an exact match for the product and print area is found and if it results in savings for you.
- Our system will also try to find a replacement for an out of stock product, but only if the replacement is priced the same or less than the original.
- There’s no downside for you or your customers. You save money while your customers receive high-quality products faster for US orders, leading to increased customer satisfaction.
Order Routing
- In contrast, Order Routing helps you save time and avoid lost sales due to stock shortages. If the original Print Provider is unable to fulfill an order or part of it, the order will be automatically redirected to a suitable alternative.
- We’ll also ensure that, when available, the order is routed to a Print Provider in the same country or region as your customer, which can help reduce shipping costs, customs duties, and delivery times.
- Although Order Routing offers convenience and efficiency, the alternative Print Provider may sometimes be more expensive than the original, but will still stay within your specified cost increase limits.
