How can I set up a product with Automated Personalization?
Automated Personalization, currently available to Etsy and Pop-Up Store merchants, seamlessly integrates the customer’s input into the design, streamlining the personalization process. All you need to do is review and approve the order—it’s that simple!
However, note that this feature is not compatible with Express Delivery on Etsy, as both features rely on the same personalization box.

Automated Personalization for existing products
To update your product, open it in the Product Creator. Delete the existing text element and replace it with a personalizable text layer by selecting the Personalize option. Once done, republish the product to apply and save your changes.
Automated Personalization for new products
Step 1: Choose and set up your product
Select a product from the Printify Catalog that you want to offer as personalizable. Then, click on the Personalize option in the Product Creator—this will automatically populate the text field with the customer’s input. You can also add permanent elements to your design.
Once complete, click Save product to move on to the next step.
Step 2: Adjust the personalization instructions (optional)
Below the personalization toggle (which is enabled automatically with a personalizable text layer), you’ll find default buyer instructions that can be customized to fit your needs.
